How’s the week been?
Hasn’t It been nice to get back to normal eh? Some Christmas decorations are down and once the rest are down I’ll do a good clean up! Hasn’t the holiday period flown by? It’s also like I’ve blinked and missed it!
I’ve been planning some posts for the next few weeks and have some lovely items to share with you, hope you’ll stop back.
I went back to my gym classes yesterday, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, but I do ache today. I should have booked another class for tomorrow but I’ve got other things to do so will wait for Monday and hope I’ll be back to usual form by the end of next week.
Let’s talk coats. Do you have lots hanging in your wardrobe or do you rely of just a couple to see you through? I was never a coat person unlike my sister who had every style, colour and pattern when we were younger, but since starting my blog I’ve added and added to my collection and now there’s so many in all different places (who else has loads of storage areas?) to complete any of my looks. Most are neutral, but I do have a fabulous military style in a new-to-me khaki green.
Anyway I digress, today I wanted to share this padded beauty from Lands End and with you. It’s an ultra light down jacket that’s packable and just so happens to be khaki green as well!
Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.
Yes, you did read it correctly, this jacket is packable, it comes with its own little bag to pack it into, just right for weekends away or a day out when the weather is changeable.
Made from the softest down this cool jacket will keep you as warm as toast. It’s got a water-resistant shell, is fully washable and can be tumble dried (using tennis balls will keep the down plumped up).
My jacket fits beautifully and I can confirm the sizing is spot on. Price point is also just right, especially as it’s been reduced to £90! Available in two other shades and comes in three size options regular, petite* extra large.
Khaki green makes a nice change and as I’ve bought loads of pieces in this fashionable colour it will fit into the mix perfectly.
Here I’ve teamed it with an old pleated skirt that always gets nice comments. It’s from H & M and is a William Morris design that proved very popular - many of my blogging friends sported something from them.
I grabbed my daughter’s khaki bag which you may recall me having borrowed it before. It’s from Primark and contrary to some views is worth having a look at as their bags are on trend and very good prices. I have to add I like to mix up my shopping routines and buy both high end and low and blend the two together!

ReplyDeleteReally liking this one Gail, thanks for stopping by. x
DeleteJacqui, it's a great jacket! I love the khaki color and it looks fabulous with this adorable outfit. That skirt and boots are just magnificent! I took down all the Christmas decorations on NYE but I will leave the lighted tree without its ornaments up for a few more weeks. I like the lights in the early morning darkness and the evening hours! Happy New Year to you and yours!

DeleteSuch a cute style and love this color! I have a purple packable jacket that I keep in the car for emergency on cold days and I forgot a coat! Thank you for the feature: what a nice surprise!

I am one of those people with few coats. I'm always on the lookout for a new colorful wool one. But, I rarely find any that are exactly what I want. I did buy two down filled coats this year...one is pomegranate and the other is a forest green. They are also packable. I have one from this retailer from years ago. They wash and wear like iron!
ReplyDeleteI love your new coat with that skirt. Love the print! Thanks for the link up! I hope you'll join the Weekend Traffic Jam!
