Jenerique Culottes with White - #Chicandstylish #LINKUP

Hi there. 

How are you all doing?

As you know I’m away this week, so have planned in advance. I’m on my last day here in Majorca, and for the last couple of days has been raining and cooler temps so I went to Alcudia on the bus. It was really pretty there walking around the marina, browsing a couple of shops and have a drink and slice of pizza. The sun eventually decided to make an appearance so I headed for the bus … along with everyone else! The queue was horrendous with no visible queuing system and signs to say what bus stopped where (they all stopped in the same place) so David and the rest of us decided to take a taxi. Much quicker and so much more interesting, the driver chatted about his country, where he lived and his family. It was nice to hear more about the town from a local and he suggested visiting the old town of Alcudia, this I’ll have to do on my next visit as I’m home tomorrow. ☹️

Who else hates having sticky legs in summer? Chaffing can be a real problem and there’s all sorts of creams, powders and underwear on the market to help. 

This is when wearing culottes and more importantly lightweight culottes comes in handy!

I often turn to culottes in the summer months, I find them so comfortable and flattering to wear. I spotted these on Jenerique’s website and figured they’d be a good choice.  I’ve got a few pairs already and felt light blue would be a brilliant addition to my wardrobe when it can be teamed with white and cream along with pale pink and tan. 

Here I’ve kept to tonal dressing and added a pin stripe shirt, with white accents of sandals, bag and blazer. 

Who else loves a half elastic waistband? Yes they are just so comfortable aren’t they and work well, especially on holiday when it can get hot and sticky! They’re also good to travel in too. I’ve been caught out so many times when wearing jeans. Having to take your belt off at security can be a real pain, although with the new scanners it seems that might be a thing of the past, I do hope so! 

These are a great length on me, and this fashionable style * is sure to be a winning item in your wardrobe too, checkout the sizes and price here, I’ve gone with my usual size and it’s perfect!

I’ve had this white linen jacket in the back of my wardrobe for ages and had almost forgotten about it. I really do need to wear it more often as it’s a summer staple and works nicely with trousers, dresses and culottes like mine, what do you think about this style. One you’d choose? 

Finally you can see my white sandals and bag, it’s always going to be a good choice for any outfit because as we know white neutrals go with nearly everything. The bag came from TK Maxx and I’ve been thinking of putting it in the charity pile, but seeing it looking so right I’ve changed my mind and keeping it. 🤍
