Morning all.
How’s your world treating you?
Nothing much to report really, just a normal week so far but a busy weekend on the horizon for me.
I missed gym on Monday after not feeling 100% so Wednesday’s were my only two classes this week. I’m still going to Fight Club and have to admit to struggling with the routine yesterday! Maybe it’s because I’m getting over a cold or just getting old but trying to grasp the whole routine was a nightmare, I kept having to stop and I think the instructor had given up on me! If you’re messing up the routine you have to go and do either press up’s or burpees so guess who was doing those first! 😂. So fingers crossed I’ll be back to normal and grasp the workout quicker next week or I might have to consider doing a different class! 🤷🏻♀️
On a better note though I went through the jacket section of my wardrobe and added a few, that I didn’t want anymore, to Vinted. I’ve got rid of about 5 so far, only for a few £’s but it’s good to pass them on and give them a new lease of life isn’t it! Do you sell on Vinted or what’s a similar site where you are?
Today I’m sharing something I wore on Tuesday to visit my mum, it’s an old faithful skirt and new Tee shirt & I’m really pleased with the look. Do let me know your thoughts.
Hands up who doesn’t like Leo print? I’m a huge fan and am always drawn to it when I’m shopping or flicking through websites. Now this skirt has been around for a while now but whenever I wear it I always get a lovely comment or two.
It’s a satin fabric that’s a bias cut fit and although that’s not a style I usually wear this one is cute and looks fab on. I’ve worn it umpteen times in the past & most recently with this vibrant shirt that I borrowed from my daughter.
It’s still sandal season for me, so I popped my mules on for heading over to my mums on Tuesday. The rose gold mock croc pattern is simply wonderful and these go with so much, bonus time … they are so flippin’ comfortable! It’s nice to have bright coloured footwear, but basic neutrals are ‘must haves’ in my mind. You can find out all about these over on this dedicated blog post here.
What to wear on top! Well black is an obvious choice as is cream or tan, all of which I’ve worn before. The tee shirt is new. I’d wanted one in this style for a while after seeing a gap in my wardrobe. So when I spotted this one in F & F for the bargain price of £7 I grabbed it and ran to the checkout without thinking. I’m going to get the white one too, a girl can never have enough black or white tee shirts can we!
I’ve got a couple in this racer back style and had to find some bra clips in order to wear my usual bras and not see the straps. I like the high neckline which I find - one really flattering and two super to cover my neck area.
Keeping with the Summery theme I picked my little tan basket bag. It’s interesting to mix the textures and this fashionable bag is big enough to hold my essentials - keeping them safe with the drawstring closure of the inner bag. I’ve found this one that’s very similar in case you’re thinking of getting one for yourself.

I've just started selling some of my jewellery on Vinted. I literally spent all day on there yesterday, to try and earn some cash for the house build lol! It's going well so far! Hope all is well with you.
