I send you good wishes from Sicily!
I’m away for a few days so have this post planned in advance. The last couple of days have been the usual busy build up to my trip, there’s always so much to do and even though I try to plan everything that I need to get ready it’s still a mad rush at the last minute!
I’ve been checking the weather in Savoca and it’s apparently going to be a nice and hot in the high 20’s, which will be lovely. I’m taking a few different outfits and plan to have a nice choice of dresses etc, shoes and jewellery. We’ve been there before back in 2022 and it’s nice to know where the hotel and all the places we visited last time are. I’m hoping we’ll visit some new venues, so will be taking the guide with us (so long as I can find it) 😂.
Today I want to show you a ‘go to’ look that works so well for me. It’s a perfect number for nicer Autumn days when it’s not too cold and still fairly warm. We position have many more days like this so I’d switch a couple of pieces to make it suitable for colder days. Let me know if you like it my friends.
I bought the slip skirt, that’s a trendy leopard print, in Matalan a season or so ago. It cost a bargain price of £12 in the sale and I’ve worn it so much it’s already paid for itself!
Here I’ve styled it with a plain black Tee shirt and light beige faux leather jacket. I love wearing this jacket, it’s such a good colour for transitioning the seasons, it’ll go well with dark neutrals like I’ve worn here and also light wash jeans and the various wide leg trousers I like to wear.
This is one of the colours and styles I’d recommend buying and would be a brilliant addition to any wardrobe.
Usually I would have teamed this kind of look with heels, either shoes or boots, but have fallen for the stylish and casual pairing of trainers, so reached for my chunky ozweego’s.
This trend is most definitely here to stay and I’m pleased to say I’ve just purchased some Adidas Samba’s which look great on and feel super on my feet. They are very light which makes them a comfortable addition to so many outfits I’ll be wearing throughout the next few months.
You might have seen my little bag before. It’s an unusual design and always gets a compliment when I use it. I’ve had it for a few years now and unfortunately this style isn’t available now, but I’ve found this one that’s similar which I’m sure would get the same lovely comments. X
