Trending Leoprint & Red - Chicandstylish Linkup

Good morning my friends.
How are you all?

Feeling typical holiday blues recently. I adore going away, but hate coming home to normality, that being said I love coming home to see the family. Didn’t have much washing so the suitcase’s and everything I packed is away.

My holiday to Sicily was amazing, I had been worried visiting for a second time wouldn’t be as good, but I have to say it was every bit as fantastic as the first time. I’ll be posting about my trip in the next few weeks, so if you like The Godfather and Sicily do look out for it.

Todays outfit is based around the trendy leopard print and red mix,  all shopped from my wardrobe and you’ve probably seen the clothes before, but it’s nice to play around with pieces in your wardrobe to find new looks isn’t it!

I’m not a trend follower per se, but I dip in and out when something catches my eye. Now the leopard print fashion has been around for years and I’ve always loved it. When it’s paired with red then it’s goes up even further in my rating, doesn’t it look fabulous my friends.

I’ve had the roll neck for years now, it’s a soft stretchy fabric that feels snug and warm on. Possibly a tad too warm for the weather we’ve experienced over the past couple of days, so I’ll have it to hand when the temperatures drop - which I’m sure they will all too soon.

My faux leather jacket has been around for many years, David bought it one Christmas, and it’s topped off many an outfit both casually and dressy and hasn’t dated at all!
Like leopard print, faux leather doesn’t really go out of fashion, so if you’ve not got on this trend I guarantee you won’t be disappointed if you do! This is a reasonable price and this one is a bit more pricey but worth it.

I found the trousers, which are a lightweight fabric, on Vinted. They’re originally from Tu Clothing but cost me £4! They’re wide leg style with pockets and little pinch pleats.  Bright red is a good way to spread positivity both for yourself and for others, and I’m all for feeling happy.
Do you wear vivid colours like this? It’s one of my favourite colours. ❤️

Kitten heels are very popular this year, have you got any? They are a super way to elevate an outfit to give it a more feminine feel and that’s just how I feel in mine. These cost £14 in Primark and are really comfortable and look great on. The sling-backs have an adjustable buckle and faux buckles on the front which are a stylish addition.  These are perfect with wide leg jeans, trousers, skirts and straight trousers alike and I’m excited to styling them again.
