Styling my Cotton Traders Trench Coat.

Morning lovely friends.
How’s your week gone?

Mine has flown by since the safe arrival of Violet Jacqueline and my weekend to Southwold it’s been so busy, is December really just around the corner? I’m contemplating putting my Christmas decorations up already! Have you put yours up yet?

My daughter’s house is by coming along nicely and it won’t be too long before she (and her ‘bigger’ family) move out. I’m dreading the day but I know they’ll have a wonderful new house to enjoy and turn into a home.

Since the weather has turned a bit cooler I’ve been enjoying this new trench coat and it’s been a welcomed addition especially as the natural shade will go with so much. Checkout this outfit I wore last week and maybe it’ll inspire you to buy your own trench coat.

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

Trench coats have been a wardrobe staple for almost a lifetime. Designed to protect from wind and rain they’ve been “go to’s” for many years. Their versatility knows no bounds, I mean you can wear one for almost any occasion and still stand out. Originally designed for military wear they were soon appreciated for the all round winners that can be worn year round. Stylish designs have been a fashion statement for celebrities and casual wearers alike and can turn any outfit into a wow outfit just like that.
Layer them for winter, add them unbuttoned to Spring lightweights or pack them in your Summer bag for ‘just incase times’ - they have so much potential.

My stylish coat is mock suede and quite honestly is a fantastic addition to my wardrobe - I know it’ll be fabulous over all sorts of outfits ranging from jeans, like I’ve styled here, to finishing off glamorous dresses for dining out occasions - the choices are endless!

So let’s tell you more about this stunning coat. It’s from the new Alex Jones collection at Cotton Traders and is quite honestly a super stylish jacket that is a joy to wear.
The mock suede trench is the softest fabric and feels dreamy on. Even thought it’s lightweight it still feels super cool on and looks great.

My mock suede coat* will bring an air of sophistication every time you wear it. It’s got a light stretch and has all the fashionable points like deep pockets, buckle belt, side pockets, button fastenings epaulettes to the shoulders & back vent creating a sultry silhouette of loveliness.  Head over to the website to checkout this fashion staple and bag your own for a reasonable price of £59 with £10 off now!!

This will be warm enough to cover my outfits for the next few months and going into colder winters some layers under it will be super. Neutral tones are my preferred colour picks as they pair well with so much, I love a neutral don’t you?

Final additions to finish off the look were my latest pashmina scarf that I got in Savoca, my chunky sunglasses and some patent boots that I found on Vinted.

Thanks very much for being here today, so good to have you here. Do stop by on Thursday for the link up and next Monday I’ll welcome my four friends to the blog to share their latest looks around the theme … Full Skirts … which was set by me.
Cheerio for now. X
