Bonmarche Knitwear - Chic & Stylish Linkup

Good morning my friends.
How are you doing?

This will be the last post before Christmas as things are proving busier than I anticipated. I’ve got most things sorted and no major plans to do anything but I want to chill and get everything ready without any dramas!  Are you all sorted for the big day?

Today I’m meeting the ballet ladies for a Christmas lunch. It’s nice to see people in a different setting when there’s more time to chat about other things rather than ballet talk. We’re going to a chain restaurant that’s just down the road from me and I’m excited to see what’s on the menu ( I love Christmas dinner, but think that’ll be too much as I normally have a meal with David in the evening so we shall see). In the morning I’m planning to wrap my presents and then I can work out the remainder of gifts I need which I need to get, to be honest, isn’t that much!

I also managed to do a little reel today, it’s for my IG account but I’m sharing the pieces with you today, can you guess what I’ll be wearing Christmas Day?

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

Hands up who loves anything shiny or sparkly for Christmas! Yes I agree with you and love anything glittery and festive to flounce around in!  So when Bonmarche asked me to style some pieces for the holiday period I couldn’t wait to get started!

Their Christmas knitwear is really impressive with loads of different styles and designs along with trending colours. I love a knitted dress and couldn’t resist adding these two to my collection and I marvelled at how good they looked.

My first choice was this cream midi which has a fashionable pearl neck *embellishment. I love that you can add a belt and make it a tad shorter for a totally different look. I’ve added a piccy, but don’t plan on wearing it like this when I go out! It’s just not me!  Sizes are selling really well, so I urge you yo buy now before they sell out!

The next dress I adored was a grey midi that’s from the Lorraine Loves collection. * It’s got fancy pearls across the bodice section and looks delicious with ankle boots like I’ve styled here or with chunky tights and boots. It’s a soft knit that feels great one, I sometimes struggle with knitted items as they can sometimes be really itchy, no problems with this one! Another popular buy as it’s selling really fast and I have to add fits true to size, so buy without any worry’s my friends.

I’m not a big fan of Christmas jumpers that have festive pictures over them so often settle on understated plain tops with a shiny thread or shimmer over them - so when I spotted these lurex covered jumper in pink* and silver* I thought they’d be great with jeans and boots. They also look just right over faux leather like this skirt and my wide leg trousers too. Which is your favourite?

Final outfit that, I have to add, will be a brilliant addition for the festive season and new year alike. The zig zag vest * top is a fashionable Black and Tan and makes quite a statement especially with the matching cardigan over the top! I also reckon it’ll be super worn over jeans or black trousers for a casual daytime look. It also going to be versatile as both pieces can be worn separately! Still available in all the sizes which range from 10 - 28!

  2. I love these: my favorite is the cream dress (which reminds me that I need to wear mine) and the last outfit! I am ready for next week and I am looking forward to sleeping in in the mornings once the kids are out of school. I will be trying to get lots of blogs pictures taken too as my oldest needs money and he is the best at taking pictures!

  5. These are all such good looks, Jacqui! I love the grey one with pearls, but the ivory one is just as gorgeous! I seem to always gravitate toward grey in the winter. That last look, though, is fabulous! I love the unusual color combination for this time of year, and you look amazing in it! Happy holidays to you and your family! And, thanks for the link up!
