How’s your week gone?
I’ve had a lovely weekend as on Saturday night I went out with friends for our Christmas meal. We went to a local restaurant that’s decor is like a ski lodge, actually it’s called Rock Lodge and made me think of my skiing holiday in the Alps. We all had the Christmas menu which was delicious and included a glass of Prosecco on arrival which they forgot to serve. Fortunately my friend mentioned it to the waitress who proceeded to serve us a full bottle which we merrily consumed … after we’d drunk the first bottle I might add! ðŸ¤
I’m a typical Christmas dinner supporter and opted for traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings - it was delicious and really did get me into the Christmas spirit! I can’t wait for the big day to arrive as dinner is one of the best bits for me, with homemade gravy being top ingredient.
I’d planned on wearing a dress, but ended up putting this stunning jumpsuit on, read on to find out all about it.
Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.
I’m all about glitz and glamour when I go out, which isn’t actually very often now. So I always get dressed up usually in a dress with heels, and sparkly accessories but this black beauty looked so nice on when I styled it the other day I decided this would be my choice.
It’s from a big selection from Roman and I often pop into their store at my local outlet and find one or two items that I love. I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with them in the past and you can see me wearing this fabulous suit when I went on the Kent & East Sussex Railway for my mum’s 90th birthday present.
I love wearing an all-in-one suit and knew I’d love this one when I saw in on the website. It’s got everything I like wrapped up in gorgeousness. It’s wide leg style and the bottom half is a slinky polyester fabric that is stretchy and drapes well. The length is just right for a medium heel and I chose my little suede ankle boots as the weather was awful. Now the top half is lace with sparkly sequins over it. It’s also long sleeved which I found perfect for the chilly evening, the cross-over bodice was very flattering too, I popped a thin camisole under it too so it was plenty warm enough. Be warned this is selling out fast and considering it’s been reduced to its worth getting yours now! *
This fab jumpsuit also boasts side pockets and a tie belt which sits nicely over a comfortable elastic waistband. Be prepared to wow your company as this outfit is sure to turn heads!
I kept the jewellery basic as I wanted the outfit to speak for itself, silver earrings and bracelets were my choice and my black pouch bag finished the look nicely. This picture shows a cute little black and gold bag, which I did contemplate using but went with the padded clutch instead.
Thanks for joining me here today, appreciate your support.
See you on Thursday for the new linkup. Don’t forget to stop by!
Have a great beginning to the week my friends.
Cheerio for now. X
