Styling my Fleece Lined Leggings from Lovall.

Hello it’s great to have you here.
Well hasn’t it been cold!

I’ve been freezing all the time, well unless I’m wrapped up in my bed! It’s all been about layers for me and these dreamily warm leggings from Lovall Leggings have been a godsend, I excited to share them below.  How are you coping with the weather. Isn’t it crazy how lots of places are struggling with awfully cold weather and others are in a terrible predicament of the wild fires! My heart goes out to the poor people in America who are facing this catastrophe.

My weekend went well and wasn’t too busy. On Saturday I took my grandson to the cinema. We watched Sonic the Hedgehog 3, he loved it and although it wasn’t my sort of film I had a brilliant time with him.  I’ve been doing presents for the grandkids a little bit of a different way in recent years, so rather than getting them a big expensive present I like to take them out and do something special on their own. I took Amelia to see Frozen with her mum and my other daughters, I took Freddie to the cinema and also swimming in a local private pool and last year I took Peyton to the cinema too.
After the cinema, where we loaded up with sweets and a slush drink we went to McDonalds for burgers. I throughly enjoy my one to one’s (well a bit more of us with Amelia) and plan to do this sort of thing a lot more with the rest of the kids. ❤️

Sunday was a lazy day, avoiding the cold by staying in with the heating on. We had a nice roast chicken with a tray bake of various roasted vegetables which made a lovely alternative to a traditional roast dinner, do you like to go “off piste” for Sunday dinners sometimes?

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

The weather in the uk has been freezing - quite literally! We’ve been experiencing minus figures and I for one have noticed the cold … even indoors! I’ve had these leggings sitting waiting and last week I decided to try them on. Well they couldn’t have come at a better time, they’re fleece lined and are an absolute delight to wear. They are SO warm I really didn’t want to take these dreamy trousers off.

I picked my usual size after having some basic leggings from Lovall in the past. But these are even better with a high waist which is nice and supportive and hold me in across the waist. They flatten my stomach which is a great addition and the length I chose looks just right. Love all offer three lengths, regular, petite & tall in sizes 6 to 28. They also offer four other colours which are perfect for winter wear.  As I mentioned above the best thing about the Winter flares * is the fleece lining making them a must for colder weather.

Now did you notice my sweatshirt? Do you know I’ve never had a sweatshirt and really thought it was time to get one. I found this one in my local F & F and fortunately bought it when they had a 25% off promotion on so it only cost me just under £15. A bargain if ever I saw one.
I like the Chicago graphic on the front which is basic cream over the black top, thought it’d work well over black leggings or jeans and I know this’ll get a lot of wear throughout the coming months. Do you wear athleisure pieces & how do you style them?

My final additions, on this chilly day, were my cream gilet which is toasty warm as it’s very padded and has a chunky hood. There are in lots of shops and online at the moment and make a nice outfit a hot one. 👏. My trainers are cream too and to be fair any trainer would look right but these are slightly bigger for me so having room for two pairs of socks were needed and very much appreciate!
I like a little crossbody bag with this sort of look, so reached for this little leather bag that just about fits all my essentials in. It’s a quirky bag that’s got a fancy pattern and chain strap that can be adjusted - don’t we all like to have choices eh?

Great to have you here today. Be sure to join me on Thursday for the Linkup.
Have a safe and warm few days u til then my friends.
Cheerio. X
