Denim Dress from Bonmarche - Chic & Stylish Linkup

How are you?

With rain yesterday it’s been quite dismal here!  I managed to get some lovely photos outside on Monday but yesterday I resigned myself to having to take photos inside in my dressing room. They’ve turned out quite well and I’ll be sharing them on IG and here next week. 

Although the weather has been pants here, as I mentioned above I’ve managed to take some super photos outside at the beginning part of the week. It was a bit windy and I’m sad to say the tripod fell over and has marked my screen protector! Fortunately as you know that can be changed but it’s got a nice little spider mark on the front which gets right in the way!  Need to get a new protector ordered and get my son to put it on!

So back to the shots, I’ve been thinking about Spring and the type of things I’d like to incorporate in my outfits. This dress gets a big tick from me as it’s going to be a brilliant addition when it’s a bit warmer. Who else loves a denim dress?

I adore wearing dresses, but tend to wear them more when the weather warms up. They are so easy to style aren’t they, and wearing something like this style brings a comfy vibe to a stylish look. This denim beauty from Bonmarche is a soft denim that’s got a nice feel to it. It moves quite freely and as it’s a smock style is just so easy to wear. 

This midi style * is from the new in section for the Lorraine Loves collection. If I’m honest I could have gotten away with a smaller size, basically I’m dieting so have lost a couple of pounds, but they are quite generous in sizes, so be sure to size down if you’re unsure. This is a pale indigo denim that’s on trend right now and your sure to hit high in the fashion stakes with this charming number, plus it can be layered for our ever-so-changeable weather in the UK! It’s selling out fast so be quick to bag this £26 bargain, you’ll soon realise it’s worth every penny as you’ll be wearing it from Spring right through to Autumn!

I pulled on this jacket which is a short blouson style and really am impressed with the colour combination, tan and denim always works well together don’t you think?  This was the jacket I’d pined for last year and eventually found it in the sale for £10. Guess who promptly paid for it and brought it home!! lol. 

I wanted to keep the colour combo going so reached for these suede cowboy boots, I like the relaxed feel it gives and they are really comfortable to wear too. 

Final additions were a borrowed bag from my daughter. It’s got big gold hoop handles that make a big statement, I love a bag that gives that extra bit of detail. I’m lucky to have my daughter still at home so I can borrow from her. 😅 I’ve got loads of scarfs and I really need to go through and sort them out but this one was hiding in plain sight and matches brilliantly I reckon. I pick up my neck wear in all sorts of places and I forget just where this one came from! I like that it combines the shades in my dress and jacket and don’t you think it enhances it nicely. X
