Pearls with a cream outfit - Chic & Stylish Linkup.

Good morning my friends. 

How’s it going for you? Is February treating you kindly?

I’ve been making good use of my extra time and space since my daughter moved out. I’ve taken photos in the dressing room and a few outside when the weather was nice, today’s shot shows the clear sunny weather we had yesterday when I styled this new jumper * from Bonmarche. 

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments. 

I’m always drawn to cream tops and jumpers and if there’s any kind of embellishment on it then it’s mine! I spotted this beauty on the website and was excited to see it was a favourite of Lorraine who is a celebrity on the telly and round about my age - we have our love of fashion in common!

Pearls are the epitome of elegance and the fact this jumper is covered with them on the front proves it’s a classic winner in my eyes. No need for a necklace here as the pearls will do all the talking. It’s got an impressive price point and you can bag this beauty for a mere £22 which is an incredible bargain. 

I found the Matalan wide leg trousers hiding in the wardrobe. I bought them last year and because they’re a tad too small for me I’ve not worn them yet. It’s given me the incentive to try and lose a couple of pounds so I can wear them properly. 

I teamed this striking classic tweed jacket over the top and I adore this long line style on me because it covers the areas I dislike. Longer styles can portray a more formal polished look which is quite the opposite to a shorter bomber style that can create a fun casual vibe. What’s your favourite look?

Scarf’s are taking centre stage this season, either worn typically round-the-neck fashion or if you fancy something different why not tie a tonal matching silk to your bag!
