Collared Jumper with my Denim Skirt.

Good morning everyone.
How are you?

Did you have a good weekend? I’ve had another hectic one! Well Saturday was very busy! I was painting ceilings! The family are getting my MIL’s house ready to sell so there’s a few little bits and pieces that need doing before it’s put on the market. It was a hot day so once I’d finished that I came home to do some gardening. I cut both front and back grass and strimmed the edges as well. I also did some weeding, giving special attention to an area I’ve decided to use for taking photos - I fancy getting something like trellis or a mirror and some pots with tall plants in. It’s sort of a rockery area and might work well for taking shots! I’ll keep you informed about that one.
On Sunday after helping my daughter do an AirBnb clean I spread some weed killer. There’s an area in front of our house that draws loads of weeds and every year one or other of us weeds it for it to grow again! I vow this year to keep on top of it and get the weeds under control, let’s see how that pans out! 😂

With the weather being so nice lately, I’ve actually even wearing some outfits more apt for Spring. Today’s look is an easy to wear feminine and casual look featuring this fabulous little top.

Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.

So short sleeves were donned for the first time last week, I wore this without a jacket too! The temperatures have nearly hit the 20’s here and I was almost too warm! I say almost .. lol!
This little beauty is from Damart, a company that offers super quality clothing focussing on comfort and fun.
A short sleeve jumper works really well for me, especially when the weather is still so changeable. This jumper will still give the warmth without being too covered up.

The Breton stripes always look great over jeans and the blue with cream * compliments my light wash denim skirt nicely. The collar is a fab addition, kind of a preppy look that’s been popular in winter and is fast becoming just as favoured this season. You can enjoy this look in the office with wide leg trousers too, when a shirt might not be warm enough.

I popped my wide leg jeans on with this as well, I neglected to get a piccy, but will post on IG when I wear it next. The skirt was a gifted item last year and having lost a bit of weight I now feel it might be a bit big for me! It’s loose on and the waistband moves around so I might see if I can find it in a smaller size. I love the length though and can wear it with heels, flat sandals and trainers. It’s a versatile skirt and will be a welcomed wardrobe staple throughout the coming months. Fingers crossed I find one smaller!

I’m so pleased the weather has been hotter recently.  I love sandal season and like the sling-back style of shoe. You’ve probably seen these lots of times on here as they’re both comfortable and stylish, & they go with so much because of the neutral off-white shade and the fact that the heel is a good height is a winner for me. Do you wear sling-back shoes?

I added a stand-out bag. I threw my tan leather bag into the equation, looks okay doesn’t it. I’ve broadened my horizons when it comes to putting accessories together, and this mix has come a long way from the matchy-matchy ensembles I used to wear. Do you mix and match?

Thanks for coming by, much appreciate your love and support.
Cheerio for now. X
