How are you?
Well this week just ran away from me, I’ve woken up today and realised no blog post!
So here’s a hasty catch, up with stunning spring dress to share.
Yesterday was my eldest daughter’s birthday. We popped over to see her and had a couple of drinks to celebrate but came home early to have dinner, so that was a quiet affair. Today I’ve a couple of errands to run and then I’m looking after Max as his mum and dad are out this afternoon seeing a show in London. I hope the weather improves as he loves playing in the garden. We might go to the park if it’s warmer - as there more to do and again, he loves it.
I went into town on Saturday to change a couple of bits. I’m trying to find the best pair of barrel leg trousers and after finding some from Next but thinking they’re a tad snug, took them back & found another pair in M&S. They’ve come up great but have quite a baggy section on the back which I don’t like. I might take some photos to see how they look but maybe change them for a smaller size! My Keto diet has really worked as I’m a stone lighter and possibly getting into a size 10, albeit from Marks & Spencer which offer generous sizes, but I’m taking it!
So today I’m sharing a stylish maxi from Izabel London.
I’ve added items to dress it up and make it suitable for Spring dressing when the weather is still cold.
Items marked with * have been gifted to me, however these are 100% my own honest comments.
Aren’t they just stunning colours over this kimono style * maxi!
They’re muted shades of white, orange and black that all would be best suited in Autumn, but I love the bright orange running through this abstract print and know it’ll look just as nice in the Summer with sandals.

It comes with a matching tie belt which I’d normally choose but here I’ve added a tan belt that’s got interesting details. It’s sort of a double belt and looks right at home with tan boots. These are my suede beauties that I found on EBay. I’d spotted them in Clark’s in the outlet but they didn’t have my size so I searched and searched eventually finding them for £20 on eBay, I love a bargain!

So adding boots and a jacket not only makes this dress suit for cooler weather but elevates the look from just wearing it to styling it. I also added my chunky necklace which I bought home from Savoca last year. This style of necklace is trending at the moment as is the trios which I like too. What’s your go to necklace?
I noticed I’d got a gap in my wardrobe for a tan jacket. I’d seen lots of trendy styles and was pleased to find this beauty in my local Tu Clothing section in the supermarket. They’re fashions are spot on and are always competitive prices. I bagged with short boxy style in imitation-suede for £28.
My bag came from my first trip to Venice. Famed for their glass and leather bags, I just had to come home with one, I also picked up two glass beaded necklaces and will have to fish them out as I think both will go well with this dress!
